F-Shield
Adjustable support for travelling in complete safety
F-Shield is the headrest and backrest support specifically designed for the safety of passengers travelling seated in their wheelchairs.
Designed and manufactured by Focaccia Group, F-Shield supports the head, neck and back, providing the same level of safety as a standard car seat.
The cushions are easily and independently adjustable to suit any height and type of wheelchair. When not in use, F-Shield remains in position.
Anchored to the vehicle, F-Shield works alongside wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint systems (WTORS), without replacing them. Available as a component for workshops and vehicle converters.

Support during travel
The headrest and backrest support the wheelchair passenger, improving comfort and stability. F-Shield also helps limit any backward movement of the head and upper body during acceleration, changes of direction or sudden braking, providing dedicated protection and support for the passenger.
Compact design and adjustments for different wheelchairs
The telescopic arm and cushions adjustable in height and width allow the support to be positioned for different wheelchairs. The head and back can therefore rest against a support suited to the passengers needs.
Rotation and ease of use
F-Shield rotates up to 180° both inwards and outwards. The ergonomic handle makes positioning the support easier, while the compact design facilitates integration into the conversion.
