Adapted in partnership with Ford Italia, who remain committed to accessible mobility through the project Fordmobility, the vehicle is equipped with the Fiorella lift for transporting wheelchair users.

The vehicle is fitted with the innovative, unprecedented Fiorella Lift, a single arm compact size lift with an elegant design.The lift integrates harmoniously into the interior and facilitates access of the disabled passenger. Available accessories include: standard-equipped wireless remote control, intuitive LCD display, anti-roll plates on the lifting platform, acoustic/luminous signals indicating movement, and anti-crush system on the main arm. Entry and exit of the wheelchair user and their caregiver is totally safe.

THE PERFECT SYNTHESIS OF ACCESSIBILITY AND VERSATILITY.

F-Twister is the innovative swivel base that rotates the lift in order to enable access to the vehicle when necessary. This eases loading and unloading bags when the wheelchair user is not on board.
In addition, the anchoring and securing of the passenger are quick procedures performed outside the vehicle prior to access.
The conversion on Tourneo Custom with Fiorella is Easy=Safe. Easy=Safe is our newly developed concept to promote the correct use of safety devices involved in the transport of people with disabilities and to facilitate the procedures.
The newly restyled vehicle has individual seats in the passenger compartment that can be configured in a “conference” version to ensure optimum flexibility of the seating arrangement.

CONFIGURATION AND TECHNICAL DATA

Ford Tourneo Custom can fit up to three people in wheelchairs and an additional four passengers, or else a total of nine by maintaining the original seats. Seats fold and are released separately, a convenient feature when organising varying seating arrangements. The number of transported people varies depending on the optional double passenger seat in the driver’s compartment. Figures show 8-seat version.
