Focaccia Group lends its experience to the
medical vehicle sector with a new ambulance design.
MODULAR INTERIOR
The conversion features a modular concept with all modules designed by our R&D department. Spacious cabinets available in different configurations are combinable; on request a tall narrow cabinet with restrainers can be added. At bottom are 1 or 2 drawer units and a storage compartment for the oxygen tanks.
To separate the medical compartment from the driver’s compartment there is a choice of a window or motorised sliding door.
EU APPROVED EXTERNAL LIGHT
The integrated and modular lighting system complies with European Standard EN 1789. The external lighting around the whole perimeter guarantees visibility from all angles. Inside the spoilers are six white light lamps that provide lighting around the vehicle’s perimeter, necessary during rescue operations and while stationary; the lamps also serve to locate addresses.
REMOVABLE COMPARTMENTS, EASY CLEANING, EFFICIENT LIGHTING
An ambulance has to guarantee maximum cleanliness performed quickly and simply.
The cabinets, drawer units and waste bin are unique pieces designed by Focaccia Group and are produced to prevent corners or gaps. The drawer compartments and waste bin can be removed and replaced as needed. This facilitates the work of the operator, making cleaning procedures immediately and quickly performed.
The integrated FG MICRO H2O2 system with hydrogen peroxide, certified UNI EN ISO 17272, completely disinfects the medical compartment in only 1 minute.
EVERYTHING CLOSE AT HAND
Spaces are ergonomically designed to facilitate operations by ambulance workers. The glove holder, work surface, drawer unit, control unit and electromedical devices are all placed to be within reach of the doctor working alongside the emergency medical technician. The cabinets are fitted with handles that allow them to be opened and closed with just a light touch. The two seats integrated on the right side, which comply with European Standard EN 1789, rotate and allow the operators to work on the patient and travel safely with the three-point belt fastened.
LIGHT WHERE NEEDED
Lots and lots of light in the sanitary compartment and intelligently distributed.
The asymmetrical ceiling installed with full led lighting and large grab bars that include spotlights and blue night lights, and the led lights running under the whole length of the cabinet on the left wall guarantee optimal lighting of the work surface and the area where the patient is receiving treatment.
